Sahar Zolfaghari, DDS, MSD
Pediatric Dentist Specialist
"I am so thrilled to advocate preventative dental care and create healthy smiles alongside the entire team at Marysville Kids Dentistry. It is such a privilege to be a positive influence to your child’s oral health and dental experience"
Dr. Sahar Zolfaghari, aka “Dr.Z”, to all our patients, was born in Iran and moved to the Evergreen state with her family when she was eleven years old. She received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington.
Dr. Z has a long journey to become a pediatric dentist. Having worked as a family dentist primarily seeing children for four years finally solidified her passion for children. Following her dream, she then went on to complete her specialty training in pediatric dentistry and received her Master of Science in Dentistry from the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital.
She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Washington State Dental Association. She has a special gentle touch, compassionate care, and highly knowledgable in multiple dental treatment options, valuing conservative mindset. Understanding the importance of providing consistently positive childhood dental experiences, Dr. Z always strives to provide every child with the highest quality of care in a fun and safe environment. She also believes in continually adding to her dental education so she can offer the most current dental treatment available.
Dr. Sahar Zolfaghari has a strong interest in public health and earned her a master’s degree for her research in the association between childhood dental caries and family quality of life in an Amazonian slum.
On the off-chance that she is not working, you can find Dr. Z being outdoor, hiking, or during football season, cheering for her most favorite team, the Seahawks! Go Hawks!
