The first "regular" dental visit should be no later than your child's first birthday. In this visit, we will introduce you and your child to our staff and facility. Questions are welcomed. Exploration and observation is encouraged. Our ultimate goal is to build your child's comfort, confidence, and trust where each visit will be a rewarding experience.

 

We will gently examine your child's oral structural function, teeth, and clean your child's teeth and gums, and when necessary, apply topical fluoride to help protect the teeth against decay. When your child is old enough to cooperate, digital X-rays will be taken to check for cavities not visible to the naked eye, look for missing or extra teeth, rule out any oral pathology, and check on the development and eruption status of your child’s permanent teeth under the gums. Most important of all, we will review with you how to clean and care for your child’s teeth.
